hello@ovlp.io — anything at all. Bugs, an invite, a complaint, or somebody behaving badly on it. We answer within two working days, and faster if it is the last one.
Getting in
OVLP is invite only while we build it. If somebody sent you a link, opening it on an iPhone is all you need to do. If nobody did, write to us and say who you would use it with — that is genuinely the useful part, because OVLP does nothing on your own.
Common things
I did not get my code
The code arrives by SMS to the number you typed. Check it is right and that it starts with your country code. If nothing comes within a minute, try again — and if it still does not, tell us the number and we will look.
My friend's plan is not showing
A plan is private until its owner shares it. They need to have put it in an orbit you are both in, or sent you a link directly. If neither has happened OVLP will not show it to you, and that is deliberate rather than broken.
How do I get a place onto my map?
Paste the link into Add a link in your inbox. If you have copied it already, OVLP offers it to you in one tap. Sharing straight from Instagram into OVLP is coming back in the next release.
How do I delete my account?
You → the cog → Privacy → Delete account. It removes your profile, your plans, your places and your ideas. Messages you have already sent stay in the other person's thread, in the same way a text does.
Somebody is bothering me
Block them from their profile. They stop seeing your plans, stop appearing on your map and cannot start a thread with you — and they are not told. If it is worse than that, email us and we will act on it.
